Pictured below is a sketch I did of of ordnance loader 2nd class Cpl Morton Carbunkle, ret’d; formerly with the 32nd hovertank battalion serving during the third Oil War, Malaysian Theater. He’s in his “adventurin’ outfit”. That’s his old army uniform, and he’s holding a Chinese copy of a Mauser C96, which he liberated from a partisan, or so he claims. The gun is probably older than he is. Probably.
On this Memorial Day, take a moment to give a thought to all those members of our Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to this country.
