I first heard about Krampus on a holiday episode of The Venture Bros. At the time I thought it was a delightfully twisted creation of Chris McCulloch, but some time later I saw a picture Krampus somewhere totally unrelated to the show and found that he was an entity that people actually believed in once (at least to the extent that they would threaten their children with meeting him).
It’s a weird world; you gotta love it.
I intended to post this on the actual Krampusnacht, December 5th, but I’m breaking in a new version of Manga Studio and got a bit flummoxed by some of the new toys it’s got.
